AI Teacher
Understand a Chinese sentence before you type it.
Watch Mode is a natural AI teacher that explains and demonstrates each sentence step by step, then hands you back to active practice.
What Watch Mode does
One-sentence promise: Watch Mode turns a sentence into a guided explanation before you try to recall it yourself.
Use it when the sentence feels new, too fast, or confusing.
Chinese order becomes clearer when the explanation stays tied to the exact sentence.
Watch once, then switch to Guided so recall still happens.
It works well on desktop, tablet, and phone because it is not keyboard-heavy.
How one sentence works
- See the sentence meaning and context.
- Hear the Mandarin audio.
- Watch words build into Chinese order.
- Read the AI explanation.
- Try the sentence yourself in Guided or another practice mode.
Word-by-word explanations
Watch Mode is most useful when the explanation stays close to the current sentence. It can call out word meaning, phrase order, and why the Chinese structure does not match English word for word.
Pronunciation and audio
Use audio and highlighting to connect what you see with what you hear. Repeat hard sentences, then use Dictation or Speak Mode if listening or pronunciation is the weak point.
Tips
- Watch once, then practice. Do not let explanation replace recall.
- Repeat hard sentences before switching to Dictation.
- Send missed content to Review so it comes back later.
- Use Watch Mode on mobile when typing practice feels awkward.
Limits and accuracy
AI explanations are a learning aid, not a replacement for practice. If a sentence still feels unclear, use the course context, replay audio, and practice the sentence again before moving on.
